With The Wolves

"Yeah...i get it.."
she cleared her throat
"ok...now its time for me to tell you MY secret.."

he looks at her" yes?"

"I used to have a human friend...back when i was recently turned so i still had blood...and i let them get too close to me..and they found out. When my back was turned they tried attacking me and--"
she sighed and shifted so she had her back to him and moved her hair out of the way so he could see the huge scar running across the back of her neck

He touches the scar lightly" how could they" he says looking down. His knuckes are turning white again.

she looked down
"I dont know..."
she whispered, keeping her back turned for now

He hugs her from behind" i wont do that" he says softly and comforting.

"I know...thank you.."
she murmered
she glanced over her shoulder and smiled gratefully

he smiled as well" well im a bit tired so im going turn in ok?"

"Sounds good to me, i think i will too,"
she nodded

He walks over to the bed that was his and he lies down in it" good night max"

she climbed into her own bed
"Good night, Showda,"
she closed her eyes

He wakes up 8 hours later and he sits up and stretches his arms.

there was a note for him on his bedside table:

Morning,
gone for my morning walk, theres breakfast on the table beside the couch. I'll be back soon

he nods at the Note and went and picked up the breakfest and ate it. He then took out his daggers and started sharping them sighing in bordeorrm. once's he's donw with that he puts them away and waits.

she soon walked in the door, just as casual and sleek as ever. She sat next to him on the couch and sighed calmly

he looks over at her" hello max" he says brightly" had fun on your walk?"

"Hey,"
she smiled back
"Yeah, but i ran into a bit of trouble from some human gang members. I didnt kill them, but i made it pretty clear that i will if they bother me again,"
she rolled her eyes

he laughs" thats good" he says laughs" i wish i could have seen it...but then again iw ould have riped thier necks out and used their spines as jumpropes."

she laughed
"Then i wish you were there too, that wouldve been fun to watch,"
she grinned

He smiles." well should we either stay in here away from gaberiel or try and risk going outside?"

she chuckled
"You make her sound like a threat...um, well its up to you,"

he laughed" sorry Max" he says" well lets go outside then"

she smiled
"Alright, lets go. And if she tags along, we'll just ignore her. Or do something to annoy her, both are good,"
she laughed and stood up

he chuckled" alright'' he stands up as well quick grabing an x-shaped holding and places it on his back" alright lets go"

she opened the door and walked out
"Morning, mom,"

Rain: "morning you two, beautiful day isnt it?"
she smiled as she walked downstairs
