Shopping? Really?

"Me too." Addi dissabeared.

Embry grimaced, "Max... don't go. Kids already gone, 'sides, everyone needs a little smack to the head sometimes."

She sighed, looking down at the pavement.
"Still...That was harsh..."
She shook her head, her hand reaching over to rub her opposite arm again, a clear gesture she did whenever she was either upset or nervous.

Embry hesitantly reached over and wrapped one arm around her shoulders, "It's okay. It's already over with."

She was comforted by his arm around her shoulder and her frame relaxed a little although her arm still didn't drop.
"I just...Ugh, she reminds me of my little sister...She...was brought down by the humans when she was accused of a murder she didnt commit...I only yelled at that girl because with a temper like that she could meet the same fate...I dont want that to happen.."

"Well, with you as her teacher I'm sure it won't happen... That is... if you teach her."

"She won't accept my help...Not when she has Carlisle.."
She shook her head.
"He would be a safer choice for the girl i'm sure.."
If only he was there when Jenni was around..

"If she doesn't, then its her loss." He mashed his eyebrows together at her last comment.

"I was my sisters teacher...Look where that got her.."
She looked away.

He shook his head, letting go of her shoulder and using one hand to force her face gently to look at hers. "It wasn't your fault if she had a wild temper. If she didn't listen well enough then it wasn't your fault."

Even then she avoided his eyes.
"I...I really miss her...Our coven is pretty close...But theres still a huge gap that she left.."

"I understand that. My packs pretty close too... if I lost a brother or a sister then I would die. I understand that the hole is big and it hurts you that its that big but blaming yourself for that hole isn't making it any better." Embry kept her face facing his.

"I know...It takes the blame away from her though.."
She closed her eyes, letting a few tears slip. She dipped her head slightly so Embry wouldnt have to look directly at her.

Embry blinked, thinking that over as he pulled her into a comforting hug.

She hugged him back gratefully. She found it suprising that she actually liked the wolf's scent. It was a strong scent but it was comforting for her.

He rubbed her back slightly.

She smiled slightly, her tears now finished.
"Thanks you, Embry.."

"No problem." He smiled, nodding slightly.

She loosened her grip and cleared her throat.
"You probably want me to let go now, huh..?"

He shrugged, "I actually couldn't careless."

"Well...My scent must be killing you right now so..."
She sighed as she let him go and took a step back.

"Nah, not bothering me at all." He didn't fight back as she pulled away.

"It bothers all the other wolves...Then again...Most vampires hate the wolf scent but...i liked yours,"
She shrugged.
"I guess we're just different.."

"Yupp." Embry grinned.

She bit her lip, taking care not to cut it with her fangs before she leaned up to swiftly kiss him on the lips, ready to bolt if he got irritated with her.
